Crime and Policing Survey 2023

Message from the Police & Crime Commissioner for Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland

The job of the police is to protect the public. The job of the Police and Crime Commissioner is to give the police the tools they need to do the job, whilst also representing the public in matters of policing and crime, challenging partners, including Leicestershire Police, to deliver the public services that the people of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland deserve.

I have commissioned this survey, to deepen my understanding of your views and experiences as residents, with regard to crime of all kinds, and to investigate how our police force is perceived by the people it exists to serve.

This survey should only take around ten minutes to complete but the results have the potential to help improve the long term safety and wellbeing of us all. Please rest assured that all results will be reported anonymously and there is no obligation to provide any personally identifying details.

Please click the 'Start' button below to begin completing the survey.

I look forward to reviewing the results.

Kind regards

Rupert Matthews
Police & Crime Commissioner for Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland
